Description
Two years after their debut album THE RADIO FIELD are back with #2, absolutely keeping track with their guitar-heavy indie pop that was nursed with nothing but Jangle, Shoegaze, Powerpop, air and sunlight.
As always the band invited quite a number of guests to contribute to this album: Besides their new member of the live setting Hanne-Lotta Blum (Solo D&B artist, sings on Apogee), who also contributes on trumpet and french horn (A Mess), you will enjoy vocals by Suzie Kerstgens (Klee, sings on bei Hey You), Federica Tassano again (Phantom Handshakes, Brooklyn, sings on Sellout, reappearing after Other One on album #1), Hannin Nasirat (Attic Ocean, sings on What It Takes), Crystin Fawn (solo Artist and the sea & the sun, sings on Ride With Me und Mimi Welldirty (sings on Same, returning after She Needs Therapy on the first record) and Thomas Baumhoff (Subterfuge, The Baumhoff Explosives, Oktober Club, sings on It’s Alright).
What started as the lockdown homerecording project of Lars from Subterfuge has long become a proper band with Mark Specht (first Subterfuge drummer), Christoph Schneider (Bass – Clayton Farlow, Klee, Soap/Soccer) and Philipp Breuer (Guitar – Pale) joining in.
